Matt Damon was recently sighted in the London, England set of the fifth installment of the "Bourne" movies and it does not look like his character is doing fine.

Aces Showbiz shared photos of Matt's character Jason Bourne with blood all over his face. The popular actor was also seen pushing his enemy towards the edge of the building while holding a piece of paper in his hand. In another scene, he was apparently recovering from his fall from the rooftop after the fight.

Matt has been spotted filming for over a week in England and it looks like they shot the most scenes by far. Daily Mail reported that "The Martian" star also took time to relax during set breaks.

As a matter of fact, he was even seen smiling and talking on the phone even as he had fake blood makeup on. "The 45-year-old star has been in the British capital for over a week as he gets back into one of his most famous characters for the fifth movie in the popular franchise, but the latest day of shooting looked to be the most dramatic yet," the publication shared.

Additionally, the news outlet reported that Matt was sighted wearing hus "Bourne uniform" which include a black shirt, brown jacket and jeans. He was also seen holding a gun on the set.

Matt reprised his role as Jason Bourne which he first portrayed in 2002 in "The Bourne Identity." The actor then played the role for two more times in the follow-up films, "The Bourne Supremacy" and "The Bourne Ultimatum."

He begged off working the movie's fourth installment titled "The Bourne Legacy" so Jeremy had to take over as lead character Aaron Cross. The latter will return in the fifth installment along with Julie Stiles who was a part of the sophomore film.

Coming Soon reported that some new faces in the cast of "Bourne 5" will include Riz Ahmed, Scott Sheperd, Vincent Cassell and Tommy Lee Jones. Furthermore, it was revealed that "Bourne 5" is still a working title as the studio has yet to come up with its unique title.

Meanwhile, Matt spoke to Buzzfeed in August and gave some hints about the forthcoming film. "It's Bourne through an austerity-riddled Europe and in a post-Snowden world," the actor stated at the time. "It seems like enough has changed, you know? There are all these kinds of arguments about spying and civil liberties and the nature of democracy."

"Bourne 5" is set to be released on July 2016.
