Seattle Seahawks Get Revenge on Jimmy Fallon, Share Their Own Superlatives

Messing with NFL players nearly twice his size in his weekly "superlatives" segment was risky business! There should have been somebody who warned Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show's about this.

The Seattle Seahawks, that includes quarterback Russell Wilson and defensive end Michael Bennett, after having had enough of being regularly ridiculed on the comedian's show, where Fallon pokes fun at players' photos ahead of Sunday Night Football, decided to get even by making fun of Fallon in a similar fashion.

While the Seattle Seahawks have scuffled with the  NFL season past the halfway point, they're definitely leading the league in one key category: Jimmy Fallon's acrimony.

The Tonight Show host poked fun at players J.R. Sweezy, Jon Ryan, Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch in one of his "superlatives" segments, before the 'Hawks Week 1 battle with the Packers.

He put them on blast once again, this time sprinkling in some new faces to keep things fresh with the Seahawks scheduled to take on the Cardinals on NBC's Sunday Night Football.

As usual, if you check out the job Fallon does on the Seahawks and Cardinals ahead of their NFC West clash on Sunday night, you'll surely find it funny, particularly the shot on Cardinals lineman A. Q. Shipley.

Since the Seahawks are principally a single-high-safety team, and the deep middle part of the field is Thomas’ territory.

It's the photo headshots of the NFL players, many of whom are from Seattle that Fallon has been using to make up his signature superlatives segment.

He named quarterback Russell Wilson “Most Likely to Wave With Just His Fingers” and Lynch “Most Likely To Dot His T’s And Cross His Eyes.”

Firing back at the late-show host with their own funny "superlatives"-styled video, the Seahawks surely, refused to take their shots lying down.

Performing a monologue and then getting some assistance from the likes of Russell Wilson and defensive end Michael Bennett (stay for the cameo from Marshawn Lynch at the end) was done by player Jon Ryan.
