Madonna Breaks Down Crying Onstage As She Honors Paris Attacks Victims And Performs 'Like a Prayer'

The support has been overflowing for the people of Paris after the brutal terrorist attacks in the capital city of France, which took place last week. Following the unfortunate incident, several big-named celebrities have been in their best efforts to show their sympathy for its victims, including pop star Madonna.

Reports say that the singer-songwriter couldn't help herself from holding her tears back during her concert held in Stockholm, Sweden, where she paused to give tribute to the Paris attacks victims and their loved ones.

The 57-year old 'Like A Virgin' hit maker stopped and performed 13 tracks including her 2010 hit single 'Like A Prayer', opened up small talks about the tragedy and made a powerful speech about what had happened.

"Actually,  I don't need my guitar for this 'cause it' been a very hard for me to get through this show up to this point and not forget about what happened last night," she said. "So I need to take this moment to acknowledge the tragedy, the tragic killings, assassinations and the senseless endings of precious life that occurred last night in Paris."

After the killings, there were at least 129 people dead and more than 350 were wounded out from the bombings and shootings. And as the people of Paris embrace fear in waking up every morning next to these heartless men killing innocent people, Madonna's message spoke up about not letting these terrorists win.

"They want to shut us up. They want to silence us. And we won't let them. We will never let them!" Madonna explained. "Because there is power in unity and I do believe that as much chaos and pain and senseless violence and terrorism that occurs around this world, not just in Paris, as much as that do occur, there is more goodness in this world. We are here to prove it."

The said concert marked Madonna's first show from her 'Rebel Heart' tour, adding that she is also scheduled to perform in Paris on December 9.
