Emma Stone Net Worth: Stone Joins 'Love May Fail', latest book from Silver Linings Playbook author

The Amazing Spider-Man and Easy A actress continues to keep herself busy, recently joining another best selling novel by The Silver Linings Playbook author Matthew Quick. Emma Stone has been cast in Love May Fail, a novel recently released in June 2015 and apparently, there's already a script penned. Talk about fast writing.

Mike White has taken the project's screenplay and will be handled by TriStar. Emma Stone is most likely fit for the role as having earned the Golden Globe's Award for Best Actress in 2010. She might be the next actress to join Jennifer Lawrence's successful Oscar win from The Silver Linings Playbook author.

Emma Stone, having a close relationship with the studio after acting in Superbad, Zombieland and The Amazing Spider-man, will be attached to the film as Portia Kane. The woman in the book that recently fell off a disasterous end from her marriage to a cheating pornographer husband. Leaving her classy and ritzy lifestyle in Florida, she returns to her hometown in South Jersey to clear the name of her favourite English teacher, Mr. Vernon, whose career ended abruptly after a school scandal. Mr. Vernon was the only person who believed in Portia Kane. Will Portia find what she's looking for?

Matt Tolmach and Elizabeth Cantillon will produce the film. Matt Tolmach is known for his works in The Amazing Spider-Man, and the upcoming Jumanji reboot. Elizabeth Cantillon is involved in Will Smith's Concussion where he plays a pathologist that unearths the truth behind the deaths of American professional football players. No word on who will lead the directorship yet.

The book, Love May Fail, is already available in stores and online, and was named in July 2015's Indie Next List. No date has been set for the movie's filming and the release is not scheduled yet, as first sighted by Deadline.
