Kate Middleton is ready to prove that she is more than just a pretty face.
Express shared that the motherhood of the Duchess of Cambridge has made her so impassioned about campaigning for children that she decided to give more speeches to get her message despite the fact that she finds public speaking frightening. As a matter of fact, she has found it difficult to come to the front until now.
Kate has been developing her oratory skills to overcome her fears so she can "lead conversations" about social issues most significant to her. In fact, royal insiders told the publication that she is planning to step-out of Prince William's shadow to take her own charity work to "the next level."
"The Duchess hasn't given that many speeches and when she has, she has felt the pressure as a newer member of the Royal Family in the spotlight," a source said. "That has sometimes unfairly led to suggestions that she doesn't have much to say. In fact the opposite is true.
"The tone of some of the reporting of the Duchess has not always chimed with the woman she really is. She is highly intelligent, well-briefed and does her research, including reading scientific papers," the insider added on. "She is very engaged with all the issues concerning young people and is at the heart of a great many conversations behind palace gates."
Kate is determined to make more speeches and she will do so in the forthcoming royal engagements. Parent Herald reported that she was criticized for being "style over substance" and focuses more on "what she wears than what she says." However, people who knew the royal mom well do not agree with it.
Sources close to Prince William's wife think that she has her own mind. "Catherine is a confident, self-assured woman," one of Kate's pals described her. "She is kind. She is caring, but she isn't a doormat. She knows her own mind and can give as good as she gets."
Meanwhile, the feud between Kate and Camila continues to grow as Prince Harry defended her sister-in-law from his step-mom. As a matter of fact, CelebDirtyLaundry informed that the Duchess of Cornwall called Kate a commoner and her stepson was fed up.
"[Kate's] more regal than YOU'LL ever be!" Harry screamed to Camilla on a recent spat, according to a Palace insider. "Get off your high horse - you're not even a real royal! You're the product of one of your mother's flings!"
Additionally, Camilla claimed that Prince Charles confessed his doubts about Prince Harry's paternity. She is now ordering for a DNA test.
