James Franco Denies Being Involved With Lindsay Lohan

James Franco is setting the record straight about his alleged hook up with Lindsay Lohan.

During an interview with Los Angeles Magazine Franco denied ever sleeping with the "Mean Girls" actress and said that Lohan lied about her list of alleged former lovers. According to In Touch magazine, Lohan made the list of her 36 past sexual partners and shared it with a group of friends during a night out.

While talking about his new poetry book, "Directing Herbert White," which talks about Hollywood, the dark side of stardom and also mention a few celebrities, including Lohan, Franco made sure to mention that he doesn't belong on her list.

"I didn't write anything bad about them," the actor said. "And Lindsay herself has told lies about me with her people-she's-slept-with list! So I feel like what I said is much less than what she's said."

Franco also mentioned to Howard Stern that he had turned down Lohan in the past, during her troubled party days, stating: "I mean, I don't want to brag about it... She was having issues even then, so you feel weird. Honestly, she was a friend. I've met a lot of people that are troubled and sometimes you don't want to do that."

The 27-year-old actress has yet to confirm or deny if she was the one who made and released the list, which included celebrities such as Justin Timberlake, Joaquin Phoenix, actor Lukas Haas, Orlando Bloom, Ashton Kutcher, Adam Levine, Zac Efron, baseball player Jamie Burke, Heath Ledger, and Colin Farrell.

"Directing Herbert White" by James Franco is in stores now.
