Kate Middleton has access to the latest fashion collections from the world's top designers. But the royal proves time and time again that it's totally acceptable to recycle a dress.
The 33-year-old attended the Place2Be Headteacher Conference in London on November 18, where she gave a wonderful speech. Not only was her speech amazing, she looked fabulous in a form-fitting gray Matthew Williamson peplum dress, which she actually first wore in 2012.
Stepping out in London on Wednesday afternoon, the Duchess of Cambridge was the epitome of chic in the gray shift dress with neckline and cuff jewel detailing from the British designer.
Kate paired the dress with dark green suede court shoes and a matching clutch bag.
Usually when Kate recycles an outfit, she at least switches up the shoes or the purse, but this time, Kate kept the exact outfit intact, down to the shoes. The only thing different about her look this year, was that now she has brand new bangs and a little bit of a shorter haircut.
Kate Middleton gave a rare public speech on the sensitive issue of child mental health at a conference for headteachers.
"I am sure you will agree that all children deserve time, attention and love from the adults in their lives," she said. "These basic qualities are so much more valuable than the always changing material and social concerns that can seem so important to young people."
"As today's theme reminds us, many children – even those from stable, happy homes – are finding that their heads are just too full," she continued. "It is our duty, as parents and as teachers, to give all children the space to build their emotional strength and provide a strong foundation for their future."
Kate has spoken only a handful of times in public since she married Prince William in 2011, but is believed to have been coached in public speaking techniques in recent months.
