Actor Ben Affleck and actress Jennifer Garner are focusing on their children's happiness, so they decided to spend the holidays together as one family.
According to E! News, the couple, who announced that they were getting a divorce in June, are reuniting this coming holidays for the sake of their kids.
"They are a unit," the source told the outlet. "They are all about the kids and making sure they are okay. They are committed to parenting together."
Ben Affleck is currently filming "Live By Night" on the east coast, but he flew to California on November 14 and was photographed with Garner and their three children, 9-year-old Violet, 6-year-old Seraphina, and 3-year-old Samuel, going to a toy store.
Since announcing their separation, both Ben and Jen have been trying their best to make everything about their children. Both of the stars were seen on numerous occasions dropping the kids off at school. This is yet another example of how the couple have managed to work out their differences and remained a family for their kids.
On the heels of their separation, the family went on a vacation to the Bahamas, and after that the two celebrated Affleck’s 43rd birthday in Disney with the kids in August.
After 10 years of being together, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner split in June, it was claimed that the 43-year-old, actor had cheated with the children's nanny.
"There was a lot of tension between them for a while, but it wasn't all about the nanny," a source told E! News last month. "It's never easy for a couple going through a split."
With regards to the nanny, Affleck’s rep has repeatedly denied that their friendship wasn’t anything more than professional. That said, Christine Ouzounian, was originally looking into how she can use this story as a way to break into reality television.
