Floyd Mayweather Jr. Net Worth: Champ Defends Ronda Rousey & Offers To Train Her In Boxing

Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather defended Ronda Rousey after the two used to slam each other on national television.

International Design Times reported that Mayweather defended Rousey after her tragic loss against Holly Holm in their recently concluded fight for the UFC Women's Bantamweight title. The Five-Division World Champion allegedly compared boxing with the UFC fight and said that "someone can just win some and lose some, but a true champion can take their loss and get back to their feet after."

Mayweather denied the allegations. ""That's not true at all. I haven't really spoke to anyone about the Ronda Rousey situation, just to set the record straight. I don't have anything against MMA fighters," he said.

Moreover, he disclaimed the reports that he asked his longtime pal 50 Cent to torment Rousey after she was knocked down on the 2nd round of her latest fight. Unfortunately, some fans and celebrities mocked the 28-year-old mixed martial artist with odd memes and harsh remarks after she lost to Holm.

"I don't think it's cool how everyone is trolling her on social media. Certain things you have to learn. People will love you on Friday and then Sunday morning, it's nothing but negative comments and people making jokes and people making fun about you, which I don't think is cool," Mayweather said. "I've never been on the other side, so I don't know how it feels. I'm pretty sure she's a very, very strong person, but we still have to take into consideration that she has feelings."

Meanwhile, Forbes revealed last June that Mayweather got a total of $300 million in a span of one year. He also got $700 million for his 19-year career and $32 million when he fought Andre Berto.

Just recently, the boxing champion gave 16-year-old son Koraun an expensive Mercedes Benz C-Class Coupe for his birthday. The exquisite luxury car costs between $39,000 to $60,000.
