'Glee' Star Naya Rivera and Rapper Big Sean Call Off Engagement (VIDEO)

Naya Rivera and Big Sean have called off their engagement.

Us Weekly reported that six months after getting engaged, the rapper and "Glee" star have called off their wedding. A spokeswoman for the rapper announced Wednesday that Sean canceled plans to marry the actress and added that he hopes the two can continue to work through their issues privately.

"After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off," his rep said in a statement. "The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter."

The couple, who met on Twitter, did not tweet about the breakup, but there has been several reports that Sean, whose real name is Sean Anderson cheated on Rivera. Sean's publicist declined the allegations, stating, "Sean did not cheat on Naya and the allegations are 100% false and untrue."

The couple announced their engagement last October, after six months of dating; they even collaborated together on Rivera's 2013 single, "Sorry." Rivera said in the January issue of Cosmopolitan Latinos that she knew that Sean would be "an amazing husband" and in time would also be "a great father."

"He's so kind to people but also wears the pants in our relationship, which I love," she told the magazine. "We Latinas are very independent and strong, so it's even sweeter that I've found somebody who can let me out of that role for a minute."
