Liam Hemsworth stopped by the Late Night With Seth Meyers on Wednesday, November 18, and revealed that his Hunger Games co star Jennifer Lawrence is, in fact, just as clumsy as she appears to be.
Meyers brought up Hemsworth’s co-star Jennifer Lawrence, specifically her habit of taking tumbles as Jennifer’s clumsiness is well documented.
After winning an Oscar in 2013 for Silver Linings Playbook, the actress took a spill while walking up the steps to give her acceptance speech, the good-natured actress fell down in her gorgeous pale pink Dior Haute Couture gown, on her way to accept the Academy Award for Best Actress.
Liam recalls a particular occasion when they were both at a premiere in London. While she was able to somehow get down the stairs without issue, one of her heels broke and she had to be steadied by her co-star.
Hemsworth said that Jennifer also fell in Spain while going up the stairs in a premiere and she also fell in Berlin while getting up from a chair. It appears like nearly every form of physical condition is no match for the Oscar winner and her unique level of coordination, Hemsworth said Jennifer is a “clumsy, clumsy girl.”
In Lawrence's defense, years ago when she was just a Hollywood newcomer, she beat critics to the punch when she declared on her first visit to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno that she essentially falls every time she goes up a set of stairs.
In August 2015, Forbes recognized Jennifer as the highest-paid actress of 2015, with earnings of $52 million. She held a fundraising contest for the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Los Angeles as part of the LA premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.
