‘Agent Carter’ Season 2: Hayley Atwell Goes Hollywood In New Trailer, Who Returns To Marvel Cinematic Universe Period Show?

It's almost time for the "Agent Carter" season 2 to premiere, nearly a year after the first one hit ABC as the second-ever Marvel Cinematic Universe TV show, and the action's now gone from New York City to Los Angeles, as Hayley Atwell's character, Peggy, goes fully noir in the latest trailer.

On the heels of the first-ever "Agent Carter" season 2 trailer a few days back, Captain America's World War II girlfriend is back for a second preview of what's coming, as she continues to be one of the most badass women in the MCU, joined once again by Edwin Jarvis (James D'Arcy, the basis for the Paul Bettany-voiced J.A.R.V.I.S.) and Sousa (Enver Gjokaj), this time taking 1940s Hollywood by storm.

According to Hit Fix, the new trailer features some of the first dialogue for the upcoming "Agent Carter" season 2, including the use of Atwell's pretty great American accent as she's on a spy mission.

As Den of Geek reports, after Marvel Entertainment announced the "Agent Carter" season 2 release date (January 5) a few days back, they're bringing it all in ad-wise for their first-ever female centric show, releasing the second trailer less than a week after the first one.

As far as the "Agent Carter" season 2 cast, a few favorites are returning for this Hollywood round, along with a few new additions to the MCU.

"'Marvel's Agent Carter' stars Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Enver Gjokaj as Chief Daniel Sousa, Wynn Everett as Whitney Frost, Reggie Austin as Jason Wilkes and Chad Michael Murray as Chief Jack Thompson," says the season's official cast sheet, via Collider, so it's fair to say that most of the cast will be returning for the second season to see Peggy kicking ass from a different zip code.
