Eminem Air Jordan Sneakers Brought For $227,000 In eBay Auction

On Monday, November 23, an eBay auction finished the bidding with a total amount of $227,552 for Eminem's limited edition of branded Air Jordan sneakers, according to reports.

Reports say that one pair of the Air Jordan IV models, which were made with Carhatt, had been purchased for $30,100, adding that the amount bidding started with $18,750 up to $25,900.

There were only 300 pairs of sneakers that were produced, and according to Paul Rosenberg, Eminem's manager, the eBay auction was the only chance that the limited edition Air Jordan sneakers would be made available.

The ebay auction, which lasted 10 days was conducted to raise funds for the Michigan State University's Community Music School's intention to provide enrollment to the local students.

The good thing is that the auction was able to raise more than 200,000 dollars, it does not only help the local students go to school, but it sure makes every dollar spent worth it as well.

The reports added that higher than $37,000 in the bidding came during the last minute of the auction, with even some of the Air Jordan pair of sneakers going as much as $10,000 higher before the closing time,

The rapper's black and gray sneakers featuring the Shady XV logo, which commemorates the 15th anniversary celebration of Eminem's Shady Records label comes with a "Jumpman" logo, Eminem's backwards E logo, the record label's signature hockey mask logo and an upper Carhatt material.

The limited pair was Eminem's third partnership with the Jordan shoe brand, which comes after the earlier models of the Air Jordan IV and Air Jordan II.

While the prices of these expensive kicks turned out to be quite out of reach for average consumers, most shoe collectors, sneaker collectors and even athletes would not mind spending thousands of dollars for these very rare Air Jordan pair of sneakers.
