The long wait is over. It is finally done and their fans all over the world are excited!
After nine years of being together and having six children, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are finally married. The two tied the knot at Chateau Miraval located in the village of Correns last Saturday.
The couple first settled at Chateau Miraval back in 2008. The estate boasts a main house with 35 rooms, an ancient chapel, and a vineyard. Chateau Miraval has a total land area of 1,100 acres.
The intimate affair was attended by family and close friends. According to the Associated Press, all of their children participated in the wedding. Maddox and Pax walked Angelina down the aisle. Zahara and Vivienne threw rose petals along the aisle. Shiloh and Knox served as ring bearers at the wedding.
In an interview with Good Morning America, Jolie said that the children are involved in the preparation for the big day.
The ceremony was performed by a judge from California.
The couple met on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith back in 2005. Back in 2013, Jolie proudly said that Pitt had been a tremendous support in her life, especially after undergoing a double mastectomy. Jolie said that they've been through a lot and they've been much closer as a family.
When asked about how do they deal about being apart when one is at work or if both of them is working, Jolie answered that the secret is in the letters. She revealed that they wrote each other handwritten letters and they feel more connected doing that.
But the wedding is not stopping the couple from working. Years back, Angelina wrote a script for her and Pitt. They are now going to start filming the movie entitled By the Sea in Malta. This is going to mark their first "on-screen reunion" after the controversial and memorable Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
