Miranda Lambert Spends First Thanksgiving After Divorce at Home With Her Parents

Miranda Lambert has announced that she will be spending Thanksgiving at her Parent's home in Texas. She is excited to be spending her first holiday since she recently divorced from the singer Blake Shelton.

On Wednesday, November 25, Miranda's mother Beverly Hughes, made a sweet welcome package for her and she shared a photo of it on Instagram.

Miranda took to Instagram to share a photo of a basket full of snackies including Miranda’s all-time favorite Cheetos and Lays chips, three bottles of Wilson Creek red wine, and a beautiful vase of harvest colored flowers. "Nothing beats a handwritten note from Mom," Miranda captioned the snap. "#homesweethome #cheetosandwine."

Miranda grew up in Lindale, Texas but now lives in Nashville, Tennessee.

She is of Irish and Native American ancestry.

Lambert, who celebrated her 32nd birthday earlier this month also made a trip back to her home state of Texas in September for a music-filled event to help animals. Lambert and her mother Beverly are animal lovers and both founded MuttNation Foundation which is a donation-supported organization that seeks to end animal cruelty, neglect and homelessness.

The singer split from Blake Shelton in early July, with neither party publicly admitting what went wrong. This is a new chapter for her to create new relationships and really move on. Now, in her cover story for Cosmopolitan Magazine, Miranda is speaking out about life after Blake. Lambert got the Nashville property and Shelton kept his ranch in Oklahoma.

Her ex-husband Blake has now moved on and enjoys dating fellow divorcee songwriter Gwen Stefani. Blake and Gwen spent their Thanksgiving, eating and chilling while watching football.
