It was announced by TLC that Kate Plus 8 will return in December. According to People.com, the TLC crew is going to follow the family as they travel and take family vacations. Boston and New England are the target destinations for the family. They will also document the last days of summer and will show the viewers how they prepared for school. Cara and Mady are now eight graders while the sextuplets are now in fourth grade.

Last June, TLC aired a two-part special. Gosselin said that being a single mom is very, very difficult and that she sometimes cry behind closed doors. She also added that it was never her intention to make it seems like she can do anything. Jon, her ex-husband is not going to appear on the show when it returned in December.

The news of the return of Kate Plus 8 is not sitting well with Jon Gosselin. He is now fighting for full custody of the children, especially since Kate has reportedly cancelled all visits from Jon. Sources said that he doesn't want his kids to be on TV again. Kate is reportedly going to make $40,000 per episode.
