NASCAR’s Last Race Before The Chase Is Coming!

On September 6th, the next NASCAR race, The 400 Federated Auto Parts will be happening. It will take place in Richmond, Virginia at the Richmond International Raceway.

Yesterday, 31sth of August, the Oral B USA 500 race was held in Atlanta, At the Atlanta Motor Speedway. From there, Kasey Kahne from Chevrolet resulted as a winner, and in second place, Matt Kenseth from Toyota. Finally, in third place was Denny Hamlin, from Toyota too.

These two races are part of NASCAR's regular season, for the Sprint Cup.  The Federated Auto Parts closes the classification stance and after it, only sixteen drivers are left from the previous twenty-six races.

What means basically that this is a very important race, following this one; the final winner will come out in November.

The big importance of NASCAR and these races is not only the liking for speed and watching it because it is also entertaining, but it a business as well.

In NASCAR, several manufacturers participate and from them, one results as the winner. The ones participating up to the moment are Chevrolet, Toyota and Ford. The three of them are not only competing here, but in the world as well.

They are actually the three most famous manufacturers and biggest selling ones, together with Volkswagen, which is not from USA and BMW, among others. Both Volkswagen and BMW are German brands. And in NASCAR, only US brands participate.

So, NASCAR determines which brand will rule for the next year in sales. If a Chevrolet driver results as winner, then Chevrolet will probably sell the biggest quantity of cars during 2015.

Racing is not just a competition in this case; it is also a Marketing strategy. The manufacturers make the cars with the best possible motors, because the better their cars do, the more cars will be sold from their brand in the following year.

Magic Johnson once said about NASCAR, "When you think about the NASCAR brand, it resonates everywhere. They have the N°1 sports brand."

And so, NASCAR brings craziness and The Sprint Cup, being the main cup of the year, brings important and interesting results as well.
