Lindsay Lohan, shared a snapshot using her Instagram account an iconic monogrammed fashionable blankets covering over a wooden horse with a bag on top.
She captioned it as '@hermes #blankets4peace let's start sending some to those in need. St. Christopher would consider it a peace offering in the holiday of any ONE person and their Holy Spirit.'
On the other hand, she did specify that it is not necessarily the blanket from the designer label itself as she added: '#beherenow doesn't matter if it's Hermés, it's giving to those that need peace of mind in life that can change one person at a time.'
The actress' Hermes blanket, with red and navy print costs about $1,525 (£1,010), a seriously luxury item. The star's post composed of her good-hearted effort received criticisms from her London-based followers.
User @jennym3503 questioned Lindayy: 'Why not buy 1000 reasonably priced blankets? Would help more ya?!'
Even @rebswin has added: '@lindsaylohan I think people are saying why not buy 200 $5 blankets instead of 1 Hermes?'
'U do have a good heart but for charitable donations u need to be a little less involved with yourself and more Into what your passionate for wanting to help others,' @mscindy1983 replied to the Mean Girls actress' post.
User @allyallyally2000 pointed out a flaw in the star's plan and critiqued: 'The homeless want homes not blankets.'
'@lindsaylohan u can get all these diamonds jewels and stay in five star hotels and vacation on yachts and all you can do is send them blankets?'
Not all comment is against Lindsay's post. Some of her followers acknowledge the star's charitable efforts.

The Freaky Friday actress posted a close up selfie in which she captioned: 'Love looks good on all of us. Share it.'
The starlet also revealed on one of her comment to a fant that she will be singing in her new movie.
