‘Fifty Shades Darker’s’ Jamie Dornan Going Nude? [Release Date, Plot & Rumors]

"Fifty Shades Darker" details have been kept under wraps in recent months, but now lead actor Jamie Dornan has opened up about his thoughts on the film and his character, Christian Grey, and some of his statements hinted at possible nudity, according to recent reports.

"Fifty Shades Darker" nudity rumors have been going on for months, with Dornan possibly being offered by Universal more money for the famous role.

During an interview with People Magazine, Dornan is said to have hinted at baring more for his character.

"I'm looking forward to embodying Christian again... and getting a chance to show more of him," the actor said.

Dornan saying "more" quickly led to fans speculate whether he will bare his body or he was simply referring to the character's development in "Fifty Shades Darker."

Some linked the 33-year-old's statement to what co-star Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) said in an interview with Elle Magazine, where the 26-year-old actress claimed she doesn't have problems going all out in her films.

"The truth is, I have no shame," Johnson told the publication.

However, the problem is whether Universal is willing to approve more steamy sex scenes for the two characters, according to Realty Today.

The first movie in the franchise, "Fifty Shades of Grey," was given had an R rating. Additionally, it's unlikely that the studios will rish an NC-17 film especially since it would limit the audience, thus potential loss of sales at the box office, according to the Latin Post.

The first installment raked in millions at the box office, and most likely Universal would want to continue that. While they might allow edgier scenes, it's unlikely that full frontal nudity which needs an X-rating will happen.

Additionally, considering Dornan's private personal life, the actor could have meant his character Christian Grey instead of nudity when he spoke of revealing "more."

There's also the possibility that his and Johnson's body parts will be blacked off in "Fifty Shades Darker."

"Fifty Shades Darker" will see Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson reprising their roles as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. The sequel is set to be helmed by James Foley.

"Fifty Shades Darker" and third film in the franchise "Fifty Shades Freed" are currently in pre-production is reported to shoot back-to-back, even though previous claims said the production team is "taking their sweet time at the moment."

Production for "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" will reportedly begin early next year.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated for release in the U.S. February 10, 2017. Meanwhile, "Fifty Shades Freed" is scheduled for release on February 9, 2018.
