Australian brothers Chris and Liam Hemsworth are two of the most handsome men in Hollywood, with the former playing a Norse god on the big screen (none other than Thor on the Marvel Cinematic Universe) and the latter playing Gale Hawthorne in the "Hunger Games" franchise - but there's more than handsome looks in the Hemsworth family!
Days after Hemsworth family friend Jennifer Lawrence revealed that the two Aussie actor brothers (as well as the oldest of the clan, Luke) were "animals" in the way they behave towards one another, baby brother Liam has revealed that there's a softer side to them, talking about what Chris did for their parents.
While these days the Hemsworth family is among the most famous in Hollywood (though probably not as much as the Kardashians), before they made it big in the industry, they were just a regular bunch with regular debts, and, according to The Daily Mail, Chris didn't forget where he came from when he started making the big bucks in the States.
Liam recently told UK outlet The Independent that the Hemsworth family had instilled the value of hard work on their sons, and they're pretty close as well, as he recalled the moment when brother Chris told their father to check out his bank account, where he'd transferred the amount to pay off all his debts.
"[My father] called my brother Chris back and said: 'I don't know how to feel. Since I left home I have had debts and I thought I'd be paying them off until I died and have this weight hanging over me, and now to have them completely cleared,'" recounts Liam, speaking about how tight the Hemsworth family is. "They are so happy now and able to spend more time with us, I would love to be able to do something for my parents like that."
In all, Chris is not only insanely good-looking, he's also supportive of his mom and dad.
As People Magazine reports, the other two children of the Hemsworth family have also chipped in to honor their parents, as Liam and Luke have both become ambassadors for the Australian Childhood Foundation, which their folks have supported for years - Leonie and Craig Hemsworth must be a very proud set of mom and dad!
