Lindsey Vonn: 'I Still Love Tiger Woods'

Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods were known for three years as one of the sporting world’s power couples. Lindsey revealed she has no regrets with golf champion Tiger Woods and still has feelings for him.

"I mean, I loved him and I still love him," Lindsey Vonn told CNN's "I had an amazing three years with him," she continued. "Sometimes things just don't work out and unfortunately it didn't work out for us. Vonn added, "But I don't have any regrets and I think we're both in a pretty good place."

The World Cup champion also said she's not sure if she's ready to be in another relationship and compete, saying that it's "nice" to instead focus on her career for a while.

The 31-year-old, World Cup alpine ski racer and Woods mutually called quits on their relationship in May, and they revealed the reason was "hectic lives" after three years together.

In 2012 Lindsey and woods first met at the charity event and they finally shared their couple status a few months later in March 2013. Vonn was perviously married to former alpine ski racer Thomas Vonn for four years, but the couple finalized their divorce at the beginning of 2013.

The 39-year-old, golf champion was famously married to model Elin Nordegren, with whom he shares two children. Theirs ended in 2010 following the revelation that Tiger had cheated on her with more women than she could count.

In January, Lindsey broke the record for the most World Cup race victories, which was held by Austrian great Annemarie Moser-Proll, and had extended her leading tally to 67 after totaling eight wins that season.

This winter, Vonn is focused less on star-studded affairs and more on training her absolute hardest.

The US Ski Team member had to sit out the 2014 Winter Olypmpics after a serious knee injury, but returned to the sport last season, and has the 2018 Olympics in PyeongChang in her sights.

"I just want to keep winning races, that's my only goal," Vonn said.

Vonn appeared in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition that featured the Winter Olympians in 2010, she came also in 59th on Maxim's Hot 100 list on the same year.
