Vin Diesel is speaking out to remember his late friend and 'The Fast and the Furious' franchise co-star Paul Walker two years after the actor tragically died in a car crash. Vin made sure his friend knew he was thinking of him on the emotional anniversary.
“No matter where you are in this universe… You will always be, my brother,” the 48-year-old actor wrote in a Facebook tribute to the late Paul Walker, who died exactly two years ago on November 30, 2013.
The actor also posted a photo of the two together on Instagram with text that reads, "Brotherhood has no limits."
In the picture, the two sit next to one another, slouched over, as they look at each other deeply. However, if you look closely, you can see that Paul’s figure is almost translucent, compared to Vin’s.
This isn’t the first time that Vin has paid homage to his fallen friend, Vin Diesel has paid tribute to Paul several times in the past. In August he dedicated his Teen Choice Award for Furious 7 to his late friend.
During the awards show, Vin sang the song written specifically for Paul, called “See You Again.”
But perhaps the biggest way he has honored Walker was when he named his youngest daughter, Pauline, after him.
Tyrese Gibson also spoke out about the anniversary of Paul‘s death.
“It’s still not easy…… 2 years ago today… We lost our brother….. Today I’m just gonna lay low and process…..” the 36-year-old actor wrote on his Instagram account.
Paul Walker, who was 40, died in a car accident on November 30, 2013, when the Porsche he was riding in crashed and exploded in Santa Clarita, California.
Both his daughter, Meadow, and his father have filed respective wrongful death lawsuits against Porsche, claiming that the car lacked safety features that could have prevented Walker's death.
