Sam Pepper: YouTube Star Criticised Over "Vile" Prank Fake Murder Video

YouTube star and former Big Brother contestant Sam Pepper has set Twitter buzzing by posting a video of his friend Colby Brock getting ‘murdered’ as a "prank" and all in front of Colby’s best friend, Sam Golbach.

Pepper posted a link to the video on Twitter on Sunday, November 29 along with the caption: "THIS ONE IS CRAZY!"

The video, which has been viewed on YouTube nearly 200,000 times has since been criticised by hundreds of viewers.

The Footage shows Golbach, who is also a social media star, breaking down after watching Colby Brock being 'shot in the head' by a man dressed in black.

Sam Pepper's prank video shows Sam Golbach being forced to watch a man 'murder' his friend after their car was 'hijacked' in Los Angeles. Colby pretends that his car has broken down, and while they are looking at the engine, Sam Pepper.

Pepper takes the pair to a rooftop, ties them to two chairs, before “shooting” Colby -who is in on the stunt- in the head, seemingly killing him outright while Sam is forced to watch.

One of his videos, in which Pepper used a fake hand to touch women without their consent, was ultimately removed by YouTube because of complaints.

Luckily no one was hurt in the making of the video, but viewers can see Golbach crying hysterically as he hears the gun shot and thinks his friend has just been killed.

The 19-year-old can be heard screaming "we're just kids" and "he's everything I have" before Brock is 'shot' in the head.

Among the 7,000 commenters on YouTube were people suggesting it was the worst video they had ever seen and several people questioned why it was allowed to be hosted on YouTube, calling for Pepper to be banned from uploading content onto the site.
