But after four years of marriage, the couple is now announcing their split.
The pair has been through so much, especially with Yolanda’s ongoing battle against Lyme Disease, and he always seemed so supportive of her. But the couple have decided to part ways in a shocking new announcement.
“Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways. We’ve shared nine beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues,” the couple said in a joint statement.
"We are grateful for the years we've spent together and believe wholeheartedly that we did our best. I hope that we can pave the road ahead of us with all we've learned and with the love and respect we will always have for one another."
Yolanda has been battling Lyme Disease since 2012, which robbed her of the ability to read or write earlier this year.
Last month, David praised his wife for her courage amid a highly publicized battle with the disease.
Just weeks after the Global Lyme Alliance Gala in New York City, Yolanda shared a sentimental snap of she and her husband kissing by the pool of the Malibu mansion that they were selling.
"Beautiful ending to a beautiful chapter in our live," she captioned the photo. "Colorful memories of Love, Life and Family will live within our hearts forever."
Yolanda was married once before to Mohamed Hadid, with whom she shares three children, 20-year-old Gigi, 19-year-old Bella, and 16-year-old Anwar. David has been married four times and has five daughters.
