Kim Kardashian, Emma Watson and Miley Cyrus On Domestic Violence Ads

A talented Italian artist used his talent to edit some of the images of Hollywood actresses, including photographs of Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus and Emma Watson for the domestic violence campaign.

Activist and artist Alexsandro Palombo retouched the images of some famous actresses for the No Woman is Immune from Domestic Violence project. Palombo retouched the photos and made the women looked bruised and battered, aiming to encourage people to speak up about the alarming women abuse rate.

The goal of his artistry is to bring awareness to people that all women can be subject to abuse even if they are celebrities and famous. He also wants to persuade all victims to ask for help and speak up.

"The biggest accomplice of violence is the silence, a silence which every year kills or causes permanent disability more than diseases or accidents," Palombo explained to Daily Mail.

For the artist, domestic violence "knows no boundaries" it can strongly affect anyone, regardless of a woman's status. So to defeat the problem which he described as "social cancer", Palombo pointed out the importance of raising awareness and educating people on "Respect and Equality."

Along with the disturbing images is an awakening tagline that reads, "Life can be a fairy tale, if you break the silence." The ads also featured other famous stars, like Madonna, Gywneth Paltrow, Kendall Jenner and Angelina Jolie.

Beneath the images is a hashtag that says, "#stopviolenceagainstwomen."

Just like Palombo, Lady Gaga also used her talent to draw attention and raise awareness to domestic violence. Through her music video for Til It Happens To You Lady Gaga actually touched many hearts as it depicted sexual assaults in a university campus.

The video has an opening message that reads, "The following contains graphic content that may be emotionally unsettling but reflects the reality of what is happening daily on college campuses."
