Holland Taylor, the Emmy winner, who most recently portrayed bisexual grandmother Evelyn Harper on the CBS sitcom, "Two and a Half Men" revealed her relationship status last Wednesday, November 25.
In an interview with New York radio station WNYC, Taylor revealed that she is in a relationship with a woman, and that most of her relationships have been with women.
According to HGV, "My relationship is with a woman,” Taylor said, “Given my generation, [marriage] would not be something that would automatically occur to me.
Taylor said of talk of marrying her partner. "But as a symbol, as a pledge, as a plighting one's troth, it would be a wonderful thing to do."
She added, "I’ve been really wrestling with this lately, because most of my relationships have been with women and I don’t like talking about them because I don’t like talking about the politics of it all because I’m not political about it,"
Sarah only dated men until she started a relationship with broadway actress Cherry Jones, in 2004. They split in 2009.
The 72-year-old, actress who is best known for her role as Judge Roberta Kittleson on "The Practice" has been rumoured to be dating an American film, stage, and television actress Sarah Paulson.
Holland also admitted she had always been at "some sort of safe ground" when it came to her relationships, but the death of her mother made her think about her life and her relationships more seriously and led her to where she is now.
Taylor most recently starred in the renowed Broadway show production “Ann.” She’s link to an upcoming project called “Broken Heart, MO,” which follows love stories across generations, co-starring actress producer, Jenna Elfman and actor Dylan Walsh.
She also starred opposite actress-producer, Reese Witherspoon in "Legally Blonde" and as Peggy Peabody on Showtime's "The L Word."
Taylor has been a long-time, major supporter of Aid For AIDS in Los Angeles, serving on their Honorary Board and as an ongoing participant in their largest annual fundraiser.
