Yolanda Foster’s battle with Lyme disease, is a hot topic on Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In a new interview with HuffPost Live on Monday, November 30, philanthropist-actress Kyle Richards spoke out about her costar’s health struggles.
“I want to be very clear about this... She 100 percent has Lyme disease and is really suffering," Richards said during an interview with The Huffington Post Live.
"There’s no question about that at all, so I really want to be clear about that because there have been people thinking I doubted or questioned it because of a comment made in which I was discussing the trailer for the upcoming season.”
Last week, in an exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming season of the hit Bravo show, television personality Lisa Vanderpump explained Foster’s illness with Richards, saying, “I don’t quite understand what’s wrong with her. I don’t know if it is Lyme disease, but I’m not criticizing her. I’m just questioning it.”
Yolanda herself reveals that she started noticing different things on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As such, she is struggling and her life has completely changed. Her children also shared updates about their mother on social media and during red carpet interviews. It is noted as well that she was trying to find a cure.
The 51-year-old, actress has been documenting her health journey on her Instagram account, traveling to countries such as Mexico and Germany for experimental treatments, and trying everything from time in a hyperbaric chamber - the medical use of oxygen at a level higher than atmospheric pressure to ancient treatments such as 'ozone,' pumping oxygen into the body.
Yolanda Foster announced a few years back that she was suffering from Lyme disease - is an infectious disease caused by bacteria of the Borrelia type. A disease that transmitted to humans by the bite of infected ticks of the Ixodes genus.
On December 1, 2015, Foster announced that after four years of marriage and nine years together, she and David had made the decision to divorce.
