Bill Murray In South Carolina: The ‘Lost In Translation’ Actor Crashes A Birthday Party! [+VIDEO]

Bill Murray's South Carolina surprise included not only crashing Marvin "Larry" Reynolds' bachelor party, but also as he did it he tear the dance floor to the beat of 'Turn Down for What'- not bad for a 'Ghostbuster'!

Earlier this year, Bill Murray's South Carolina host and his wife Julie met the famous actor - which later on made her decide on inviting him to her husband's birthday party, barely a few days before the 'Groundhog Day' star celebrated his 64th birthday - which is why there were two cakes at the party, and he got to blow the candles of one of them.

Bill Murray's South Carolina appearance wasn't the first time the actor's done something like this; on the contrary, he has become something of an Internet meme for his antics, which has gathered him many articles in Buzzfeed, such as this one. He's also famous for reportedly coming up to strangers, hugging them and whispering "No-one will ever believe you" into their ears.

Famous for his mostly comedic roles, Murray is one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood, having starred in popular films like 'Groundhog Day', 'Ghostbusters' and 'Scrooged' - and, recently, he has been one of director Wes Anderson's most popular collaborators, along with the Wilson brothers (Luke and Owen) and Jason Schwartzman. He has had minor or major parts in seven of Anderson's films: all the ones he's made from 'Rushmore' to this year's 'Grand Budapest Hotel', including indie favorites 'The Royal Tenenbaums' and 'Moonrise Kingdom.'

While it is odd that he'd take the birthday party invitation, Bill Murray's South Carolina arrival makes some sense: he actually owns a house in Charleston, according to the New York Daily News. Also, Bill Murray's South Carolina collaborations include being part owner of local minor league baseball team, the Charleston RiverDogs.
