Adele's 'Hello' Trending and the Future Collaboration with Lionel Ritchie

You probably have it on your phone. Adele's latest single 'Hello' is a soaring hit. And at one point you might have mistaken Adele's Hello for Lionel Ricthie's version. Admit it. It looks like, the two might be saying hello personally in a collab.

Lionel Ritchie, the famous 80's Hello singer and father of Nicole Ritchie, took the new found attention very well even if it was meant to poke fun at the 66 year old singer. "Wasn't that hilarious?!", Ritchie was apparently more excited about the mash-up compared to everyone else.

Reports are buzzing that the two may be joining forces soon after the trending mash up of his 'Hello' and Adele's 'Hello' that previously went viral.

In a recent interview, Lionel Ritchie revealed his plans. "We are going to be doing something together - that's already almost in the works", Ritchie said.

Is this a spin off the mash up he previously did following the release of Adele's hit single? He keeps mum about it.

He did further explain that the collaboration is not going to happen any time soon because Adele has her sights on her tour. So it's safe to say, the two artists may start working after Adele has finished touring.

"Her mission is get her record out," Ritchie explains Adele's current commitment.

When asked what he thinks about the title 'Hello' which implicitly means she stole the title, he just shrugged it off. "What it did was it blew everything to the ceiling. The conversation came up," he said. "If you say Adele and you say Lionel or Lionel and Adele...that's the best pairing you could have!"

His statement clearly shows no ill feelings towards the confusion and jokes.

Ritchie even hinted that he might jump Adele on stage. Although he's joking around but THAT is something that shouldn't be missed.
