Lana Del Rey Fan Arrested After Being Discovered Camping Out in Her Malibu Home's Garage

A fan of Lana del Ray has been arrested after he was reportedly found living in her garage at Malibu, California on Monday, November 30.

According to the detective, Lana was never confronted by the man and faced no threat of violence.

The suspect fled the scene before police arrived, but he left behind "paperwork with ramblings of his infatuation" of the singer and a laptop that they used to track him down.

"Based on ramblings in his notes, he was clearly infatuated with Lana," the detective for Lost Hills police tells us.

Detectives describe him as a 19-year-old white male who had recently come to California from Kansas and being held in jail on $150,000 bail.

He was cooperative with police but was arrested for burglary after he stole a book from the singer's home, according to TMZ.

Lana previously lived in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles but had been bothered by admirers camping out on her street and even attempting to come into her backyard.

The 30-year-old model isn't the only star who had a brush with stalkers. Singer Taryn Manning's accused stalker was arrested in New York City in September 2014 after allegedly violating an order of protection arising from her initial stalking and harassment case.

Singer-songwriter Rihanna also dealt with a stalker that same year and he was ultimately arrested for harassing her at her SoHo apartment. Actress Mila Kunis had a panic attack when her stalker escaped from a mental health facility earlier this summer.

Del Rey moved to the spacious, $3 million joint in June because she was tired of fans sniffing around her former Hancock Park, Los Angeles home, TMZ reported at the time.

Lana's music video for 'High By the Beach' serves as a combination of all of Del Rey's musical styles and features the notoriously press-shy star at a beach house being stalked by paparazzi.
