December is here, and it seems like 2015 just flew past all of us, with major stories making headlines throughout the year in the entertainment world, from Caitlyn Jenner's coming out as transgender to Jennifer Aniston's wedding and even Kim Kardashian's pregnancy - but Bobbi Kristina Brown's death was the most searched story out of everything that happened this year.
2015 is just four weeks away from ending, and so it's time for major companies to provide their data about what went down, and that includes search engines like Google and Yahoo - the latter of which recently announced that Bobbi Kristina Brown's death (and her condition for half the year) was the most searched term.
According to The Guardian, Yahoo! has reported that the most-searched term out of everything that happened this year was not only Bobbi Kristina Brown's death but her condition and the drama that surrounded Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's daughter this year.
In the early days of 2015, Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home, prompting six months of drama as she never woke up from a medically induced coma and her family reportedly feuded over how to handle her situation; then, Bobbi Kristina Brown's death was announced in late July.
Billboard reports that, other than Bobbi Kristina Brown's death, seven other stars made the top 10 of most searched words, including Caitlyn over her public transition and her daughter, Kendall, who's turned into one of the biggest fashion models in the world over the past few months.
Caitlyn's former stepdaughter Kim also made the list at number 7 and, according to Search Engine Land, the rest of the famous faces in the top 10 include "Friends" actress Aniston (who married Justin Theroux this year), pop star Katy Perry, "16 and Pregnant" star Farrah Abraham and UFC former champ Ronda Rousey.
The remaining two most-searched terms were "iPhone" and "Minecraft," in the list topped by Bobbi Kristina Brown's death - results for this year's Google and Bing searches will come in the following days.
