‘American Crime Story’ Trailer: Chilling Story Behind Infamous O.J. Simpson Trial Out Next February, All-Star Cast! [VIDEO]

Everything that Ryan Murphy has touched in the past decade has turned to gold, from his dramedy musical "Glee" to his takes on horror with "American Horror Story" and most recently "Scream Queens," the screenwriter-producer has made millions for the 20th Century Fox - and the chilling new "American Crime Story" trailer shows he's far from ending the good streak.

After months of waiting, finally there's new material for the show with this new "American Crime Story" trailer, as the show's first season is subtitled "The People v. O. J. Simpson," will focus on the infamous case that made headlines in the early 1990s, with an all-star cast to tell the story.

According to Slash Film, this is the first official "American Crime Story" trailer for the upcoming series, after FX has been launching little teasers for weeks, including one featuring Oscar nominee John Travolta in the role of Robert Shapiro, the defense attorney in the case.

As shown in the "American Crime Story" trailer, Simpson is played by Oscar winner Cuba Gooding, Jr., with "AHS" veteran Sarah Paulson also dropping by the new show, joined by "Friends" alum David Schwimmer (who will be playing Robert Kardashian, a friend of Simpson's, among his defense attorney and Kim's dad), Selma Blair (playing Kris Jenner) and the likes of Nathan Lane and Connie Britton.

Rolling Stone reports that the "American Crime Story" trailer is seemingly directed at those who witnessed O.J.'s trial back in the day, with a tagline that points out the public's fascination with the murder of his former wife, Nicole.

You saw the chase ... You watched the trial ... But you don't know the half of it," reads the trailer.

According to Coming Soon, the first episode of the show will see Murphy directing, while he plays executive producer in the totality of the season, along with Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Scott Alexander, Larry Karaszewski and Gwyneth Paltrow's boyfriend, Brad Falchuk.
