'Absolute Legend' David Spargo: Fan Gets Access To Peking Duk's Green Room After Altering Wikipedia Page

We've all heard about hacks, and sometimes they usually don't go as well as we thought they would. But here's a real life hack which you could probably use to your advantage sometime soon.

It was earlier this week when Australian EDM duo Peking Duk - which is comprised of Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles - wrapped up a show in Melbourne.

As all concerts go, the band, along with its crew, typically hang out backstage before jetting off to their next location for the night.

Peking Duk fan David Spargo decided he wanted to meet the band backstag, so he told the security guard he is the step-brother of Reuben Styles.

Upon the security check, the guard definitely had to ask Spargo for proof. Employing his clever editing skills, David Spargo simply edited Peking Duk's Wikipedia page, putting his name under "family."

Although the page has since been edited back to the truth, his story remains on the Wikipedia page, which reads:

"In December 2015, at a show in Melbourne, a fan accessed the backstage area by editing the band's Wikipedia article page and inserting himself as a family member. Upon showing the article and his ID to the security guard, he was granted access to the band with whom he shared a beer."

Talking to The Guardian, Adam Hyde said: "It was probably the most genius, mastermind move that I've ever witnessed." He added, "It's crazy. He just did it on the spot, in a second on his phone."

Of course, after meeting David Spargo in their green room, Peking Duk was initially concerned about the security breach. But apparently, it was all fun and the even invited him to stay longer.

"We ended up having a bunch of beers with him and he was an absolute legend," said Adam Hyde. "He wasn't a creep or anything. He was like the most normal dude we've ever met. That's what makes it more hilarious."
