iPhone 6C, Apple Watch 2 Specs, Features & Rumors: Release Set For March 2016?

A new report suggests that the iPhone 6C and Apple Watch will be released in March 2016 to go along with an Apple event set on the same month.

According to 9to5Mac, citing anonymous sources on Tuesday, the tech giant is already making plans for an event on March next year, and that the central focus of the event would be the Apple Watch 2.

In recent weeks, the highly-anticipated "iPhone 6c," as it is known to consumers, has been the fodder of tons of rumors, according to the Apple Insider. Perhaps it's because of this that another device speculated to debut on March is the Apple iPhone 6c, to once and for all put an end to potentially false claims.

The rumored new Apple Watch 2 feature is that the device will now be placed on a yearly upgrade schedule akin to the iPhone. Meanwhile, among the many speculated iPhone 6c specs and features is that the mobile will sport a 4-inch case, an A9 processor, as well as Apple Pay support. The smartphone is also rumored to be one of Apple's low-end model devices that will be substituting the iPhone 5s' $449 price range.

In March this year, Apple held a media presentation event where the final details of the Apple Watch launch was released. The Apple Watch debuted April this year, however with limited supplies.

Fortunately, the U.S. company was able to make quick improvements. In September, the device was improved with a new shade as well as band options. The Apple Watch's hardware was still first generation, according to the Apple Insider.

Previous Apple Watch 2 rumors suggest that Apple has set a release date that would be on the first half of 2016.

In July, another Apple Watch 2 report claimed that the second-generation model model will copy the first-generation one, but also that it will be equipped with a bigger internal battery. Apart from those rumored Apple Watch 2 specs, the device will also reportedly have better outdoor visibility.

While the current Apple Watch is sporting a hidden data port in one a strap attachment groove, the upcoming Apple Watch 2 will allegedly have new "smart bands" for improved functionality that will allow users the choose whether or not to update to entirely new hardware.
