This is not a joke and a lot of people (especially Tay-tay's haters) would probably raised their eyebrow on this one, but the University of Oxford doing this research could make no mistake on its recent finding.
The leader of this research, Charles Spence, explained that pairing the right music while eating would make anyone enjoy their meal more, just like pairing the right food with the right wine. If someone adds pop music while eating their favorite Chinese food, the result to the taste would actually improve. This could make a difference and an interesting development in the world of culinary arts and music. After all, culinary is always partnered with arts, which makes sense all the more.
Spence created the experiment taking 700 people as volunteers to eat their favorite take-out meal while their ears are plugged with their favorite tunes. After that, he told them to rate their food, ranking them from 1 to 10. Apparently, the result showed a huge connection between the music that people listen to while they are eating and the reaction of their senses to it.
Here are some artists he recommended for different food cuisine to make those even more pleasurable to eat. Bruce Springsteen is apparently for spicy food, Frank Sinatra along with Nina Simone (or any jazz artist) are for sushi and Vivaldi or Pavarotti (or any classical artist) are for pasta.
