The Voice Will Remove Gwen Stefani On Season 10 For Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton Is Not Happy About It

NBC's 'The Voice' is about to have its 10th season and the network decided to do it without 'No Doubt' singer, Gwen Stefani. They will have powerhouse belter, Christina Aguilera take over the position just like the first season.

After this was announced, the present coaches who are Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were asked about this change that is about to take place and Shelton was bold enough to answer that it does not please him.

Stefani started working in the show since season 7 and it is just this current season that she and Shelton became open to the public about their romantic relationship to each other. They couldn't keep it any longer since they have been spotted in events like the Country Music Awards holding hands and just recently once in public kissing each other.

The Inquisitr sited Shelton's interview with Extra TV where he said he didn't want Stefani to not be part of the couches this season. He even kind of ranted according to People Magazine the fact why can't the show have a fifth coach.

When asked about how she felt not being part of the show this season, Stefani was honest that it is actually hurting her not to be around her fellow coaches on a weekly basis.

But this just might not be the end of the road for Stefani and her coaching career on The Voice. The show is known for interchanging their female coaches every now and then since they are just taking turns like after Aguilera, Shakira even became part of the show and then it was Stefani. So who knows? She could come back right after this upcoming new season.

The two original coaches that have not taken hiatus so far from the show and were consistently there since pilot season was Adam Levine and Shelton.
