Rose Siggins: 'American Horror Story' Star Dies At 43

The American Horror Story family has lost another cast member near and dear to everyone’s hearts.

Rose Siggins, who played Legless Suzi on American Horror Story: Freak Show last season, died from complications from kidney stone surgery.

Siggins reportedly contracted an infection that spread through her body. She died Saturday, December 12 in a Denver hospital at the age of 43.

The actress was born with genetic disorder sacral agenesis and suffered from issues with her kidneys and her pancreas for her entire life. Sacral agenesis is a rare and severe sacral developmental abnormality.

Many of her co-stars gave tribute to her on social media.

"The AHS family lost one of our own." cast member Sarah Paulson said on Twitter. "Rose Siggins was an absolute light...I will never forget your laugh or your beautiful eyes."

"Your life touched mine & made it's lasting impression...Of love, grace, courage & beauty," co-star Angela Bassett tweeted. "God's angels sing thee to thy rest."

A GoFundMe page was recently created by her rep, James Mullen to raise funds to help care of her kids.

"I'm sad to report that Rose has passed away this morning around 7:30 am," James Mullen read a message posted on the fundraising page. "All funds raised will now be directed to final expenses and the continuing support of her children."

"The death of a beloved monster is always a sorrow, but never a surprise," Mullen wrote. "If oddly-formed organs or a random physical anomaly doesn't claim them, then it is at the sheer density of their blaze."

In addition to her work on AHS: Freak Show, the actress also appeared as herself in Ripley's Believe It or Not and Extraordinary People, and her IMDB page said she was currently filming the documentary, Schlitzie: One of Us.

Rose is survived by her husband, David, and children, Luke, 16-year-old, and Shelby, 9-year-old, who she called her "miracle' babies."
