20th Century Fox's upcoming superhero flick Deadpool jumps in to the holiday vibe by kickstarting their #12DaysofDeadpool campaign today.
Deadpool is the first X-Men solo movie of the X-Men film series that stars "Green Lantern" actor Ryan Reynolds. The actor has reportedly done almost any way to promote the upcoming super hero movie and that includes posting a photo of Deadpool as a Thanksgiving dinner centerpiece.
In the latest promotional gimmick of the movie, the #12DaysofDeadpool campaign gets on the holiday vibe to spread some love to the excited fans. Here, we see Reynolds in his Deadpool suit enjoying a glass of hot eggnog and god knows how he will be able to sip it through his mask.
Fox will be releasing 12 new pieces of Deadpool-related promotional materials every day within the next twelve days. And what's the big surprise on the twelfth day? the last day of #12DaysOfDeadpool will reveal its newest full trailer during the break of Christmas Day.
Deadpool is slated to be released on February next year under 20th Century Fox and Marvel Entertainment. The film, directed by tim Miller and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick stars Reynolds alongside Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T. J. Miller, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, Andre Tricoteux, and Leslie Uggams.
Deadpool tells the story of former special forces operative Wade Wilson who, after being subjected to an experiment to recover from cancer, gained super hero abilities and is off to hunt down the man who almost destroyed his life.
It can be recalled that Reynolds already took a spin-off of the role as the title character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The latest Marvel and 20th century Fox entry on the suoer hero movie slate is the kick off film of the X-Men movie series set to commence early next year.
