What a wonderful Christmas for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and his lovely long-time partner Lauren Hashian.
The couple welcomed their newborn, a baby girl named Jasmine on Wednesday, December 16. Dwayne took to Instagram on Sunday to share the first photo of his little one.
He posted a tender snap showing the baby Jasmine resting on his bare chest adorned with a traditional Samoan tattoo.
The 43-year-old actor shared with his more than 36 million followers on Twitter the "cool and powerful skin to skin bonding moment."
He also gushed in his long caption about how being a father for the second time around has changed him.
"Kinda crazy but in this cool and powerful skin to skin bonding moment with my newborn baby Jasmine, I had just one wish I asked the universe..." the Fast and Furious actor shared his emotional moment to E! News.
"Give me the strength to be a better man today than I was yesterday. If I can accomplish that, then I'd have a good shot at being a great father."
Dwayne also wants to share his fatherhood to all the young men who wish to be the father someday, that the goal of "being better" will never be wrong.
The actor opened up in April about the joys of fatherhood and bonding with the late co-actor Paul Walker who also had a teenage daughter while filming Fast Five.
Back in October, Dwayne made headlines when he delivered a flawless rendition of iHeart Memphis' viral dance craze, "Hit the Quan," which topped ET's Best Celebrity Dance Moments of 2015. Perhaps Jasmine will pick up her daddy's dance moves in the future?
Dwayne Johnson and Lauren Hashian have been together since 2007. The little girl Jasmine is the second daughter of the former wrestler - who has a 14-year-old daughter, Simone, with ex Dany Garcia.
