I don't know about you, but soup dumplings are on heavy rotation at my house. So it's a little alarming to hear that  almost 62,000 pounds of Trader Joe's soup dumplings are under recall, specifically Trader Joe's Steamed Chicken Soup Dumplings. The reason for the urgent recall by CJ Foods Manufacturing Beaumont Corporation? Possible contamination with hard plastic from a permanent marker pen. No injuries have been reported so far, but it's important to be cautious. Here's what you need to know:

  • Products Recalled: Trader Joe's Steamed Chicken Soup Dumplings

  • Size and Packaging: 6-ounce boxes with plastic trays containing 6 dumplings

  • Lot Codes: "03.07.25.C1-1" and "03.07.25.C1-2" printed on the side of the box

  • Establishment Number: "P-46009" inside the USDA mark of inspection

What to Do If You Have Recalled Soup Dumplings

The most important thing is for you not to consume the recalled dumplings. Throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them for a refund. For more information on the recall check out the USDA Recall page or call CJ Foods Manufacturing Beaumont Corporation at 1-800-544-6855.
