Keurig is dodging plastic pods and joining the eco-friendly movement with their brand-new K-Rounds. After folks got the worries over all those plastic pods hitting our landfills, Keurig decided to make a change. Partnering with Delica, the masterminds behind the compostable CoffeeB systems, Keurig is now subsidizing a sustainable solution without sacrificing your delicious coffee come-to-momma cup every morning.

K-Rounds: Coffee Grounds Get a Makeover

Forget those podunk plastic pods! K-Rounds are flat-round, plant-based containers that hold your bean juice remedy yet are planet-friendly. Not only are they good for the ecology, but they're also designed for optimal brewing. Also, Keurig's new fancy BrewID tech reads codes on the K-Round pod to adjust the brewing process for different roasts and blends, ensuring a perfect pick-me-up every time. You will have to get the new Keurig gear for plastic-free rounds, which may seem like a stretch, but remember when you lost your drip brewer for a pod coffee system way back?

Change Takes Time

While K-Rounds are a game-changer, Keurig understands that people don't immediately jump on the new coffee hardware cart. That's why their new Alta Brewer will be compatible with K-Rounds AND existing K-Cup pods! This lets you enjoy the new eco-friendly pods while still using up your older ones. It's a total win for convenience and sustainability!
