Starbucks and Stanley teamed up for a new tumbler that's both stylish and functional. Let's see what the new iteration of Stanley's iconic cup is about.

Sip in Style with the Starbucks x Stanley

A Starbucks barista unveiled the much-anticipated summer collaboration with Stanley on TikTok, and the reaction is what you'd expect. Stanley insanity! It's a sleek receptacle adorned with a shiny metallic finish and a vibrant yellow and pink color scheme. Completing the colorful look is a pink straw, adding a touch of Spring shwing to the container. As usual the throngs of Stanley fans are storming the gates chanting, "Shut up and take my money!"

Mixed Reactions from Fans

Set to launch on May 7th, the Starbucks x Stanley tumbler comes with a hefty price tag of $69.99, surpassing the previous $49.99 peak. While some Stanley enthusiasts eagerly await the drop, others are less than thrilled with the tumbler's design, vowing to wait for potential clearance sales or Target offerings. Even more folks are a little sick of the sticker price since, at the end of the day, it's just a thermos with a handle. Yes, it's a great sturdy product, but $70 bucks for a water bottle? That's a little extra. To that point, previous collaborations like the Valentine's Day collection with Target resold for over $300 on platforms like StockX and eBay, fueling speculation about the potential resale value of this summer release, so not only are people buying these, they are hoarding them. You know what they say about collectibles - you buy one to rock and one to stock.

The Stanley Craze Continues to Captivate

Despite the polarizing reactions, Stanley-mania shows no signs of slowing down. Following the highly-anticipated light blue release in April, this exclusive tumbler is poised to be another hot commodity. Personally, we don't get it, but then again, this author once waited in line for 3 hours in the rain to buy a pair of $500 sneakers. As the old adage goes, to each their own.
