Kate Middleton's excellent figure even after childbirth has raised everyone's eyebrow. Cosmopolitan reveals how the Duchess of Cambridge maintains such a stunning figure that goes along with her elegant style.

 It was reported that Middleton and her mom is into Dukan Diet to keep themselves in shape without sweating it out in the gym or starving themselves with bland meals.

 The Dukan Diet was made through the efforts of a French doctor, Pierre Dukan. He attributed his works to the fact that French women are typically thin and they easily shed unwanted fats despite indulgence in delicious meals.

 Hence, Dukan Diet caught the Duchess' attention and there were reports that Jennifer Lopez have tried it to. It has been proven to be effective as a diet regimen and useful for those who want to look fit in any occasion.

 For an overview of the Dukan Diet, Cosmopolitan provided a glimpse of its content, starting with the first step, the Attack Phase. The first phase sets limit on food groups which emphasize consumption of protein-rich foods such as dairy products (nonfat), poultry, seafoods, fish, and lean meats.  An individual should go into this phase for two days to a week, depending on the target weight loss.

 The second phase, Cruise Phase, will now allow the individual to add vegetables to his or her diet, just alternating protein-rich foods and green veggies for this will result to rapid burning of calories, according to Dukan. No definite schedule of the amount of each food group, just consume whichever one is craving or a combination of both. Stay on this stage until the target weight is reached.

 And the last is the Consolation Phase or the 'soothing phase', which exactly means the way it sounds.  Slices of bread and small amount of fruit and cheese can be added to the daily diet.

 And to cap the regimen is the permanent stabilization phase which allows individuals to indulge and meet their cravings except for a day in a week which is mandatory to go through the Attack Phase to maintain the ideally achieved weight.
