Taylor Swift Update: Announces She Has No Regrets Over Mistakes

Taylor Swift has been interviewed recently for the January 2015 issue of ASOS magazine and the singer has talked about how her setbacks and mistakes helped her be triumphant regarding her career.

The "Shake it Off" singer has talked about her problems she has faced even if she has been able to launch a lot of concerts and all her albums have been successful.

She said, "As much as I would really like to have saved myself heartache, embarrassment or gossip, I also know that my biggest mistakes have turned into my best lessons and sometimes my greatest career triumphs. If my life had been turbulence free, no bumps in the road at all, maybe my music would be more beige."

Swift admitted that she might have not made her greatest hits such as "Trouble", "Back to December" or "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" if her setbacks did not ever happen.

Aside from that, she was also able to develop great friendships and relationships over her famous friends now due to her hurdles and problems in her past relationships. The 24-year-old singer said that she actually dresses to impress her best gal pals as they have major influence on her fashion sense.

She shared, "When I'm getting dressed, it's always based on what my friend's will think. They are my number one priority and the opinions of girls are more important to me at this point in my life." This is in reference to her best friends Lorde and Selena Gomez.

She also talked about how Swift has made her great friendships noting that she is the kind of person who does not follow around another famous person just to be happy.

She added, "A lot of 'celebrities' surround themselves with these very chic cling-ons who don't really have much of a job or a passion. They follow around their celebrity BFF and provide constant affirmation for them and I'm really not interested in that kind of deal."
