Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 9 is an extra-special episode since Elena's BBF Bonnie is finally returning to Mystic Falls. Moreover, Elena and Damon's romance will go full-throttle now that the latter has realised that she was the one who compelled the memories of her lover away after Damon's transition to a past dimension. Unfortunately, we won't be getting our TVD dose this Thanksgiving since the show is currently on hiatus.
According to International Business Times, Vampire Diaries Season 6 is on a week-long hiatus this Thanksgiving week. Fortunately, for avid viewers, the show will be back the following week, specifically on Dec. 4. In its absence, the Thursday night slot this week will be filled in with episodes of "Whose Line Is It Anyway." Don't miss the brand new episode when it airs next week. When the show returns next week for its 9th episode this season, we will see it pick up from where it left off last week. Damon an the gang have now learned how Kai and Jo are related and Kai's plan of becoming the Gemini coven's head. When the show returns with the episode titled "I Alone," we will get to see how Damon and the rest will try to figure out the best way to stop Kai, and looks like Bonnie is going to be involved in this one. Yes! Bonnie's returning to the present time. The CW has already dropped a sneak peek to the all-new episode, and so far we can see that the gang will be rescuing Bonnie. Elena even reveals to Jeremy that Bonnie is alive and that Damon will be rescuing her from the past dimension. "It's about Bonnie. Damon's doing everything that he can to bring her back," Elena says in the teaser. "She's the reason I made it out alive," Damon then chimes in. The preview even hints that Elena and Damon will make a connection to the witch, who is still trapped in 1994. "I can't believe I'm hearing your voices right now," Bonnie tells the ex-lovers on speaker phone. Finally, what else is there to look forward for in the show? The rekindling of Damon-Elena's romance of course. "I'm sorry for compelling away the memories.
