Ryan Berk, Sean Yetman - Ryan Berk was making some "Black Friday" shopping when he saw a suspicious man with an army uniform. He decided to ask him a few questions and this is what happened:
Basically, the "army veteran" found himself in a big difficulty to answer the questions properly and Ryan Berk classified him as a "phony" or a "poser."
Sean Yetman, the confronted person for impersonating an army soldier, was shopping in Oxford Valley near Philadelphia, when Ryan Berk called him out and told him that his 10 year old son wanted to meet him.
The 10 year old boy was actually his girlfriend's son, USA Today noted. Ryan Berk started making some questions to Sean Yetman, such as where he went to basic training and also pointed out that the flag patch in his shoulder was hanging too low, among other things.
According to Ryan Berk, he pointed out 10 things, which Sean Yetman answered in the "wrong way." Then, Ryan Berk posted the video on YouTube and it gained so much attention that even Bucks County Congressman, Mike Fitzpatrick, watched it.
He contacted U.S. Attorney Zane Memeger to watch the video due to a possible federal crime, according to NY Daily News. It turns out that posing as an army veteran is actually quite common and people face charges for such a crime.
It's called a Stolen Valor Act, which in the video is called out by Ryan Berk.
"Stolen Valor at its finest, right here," Ryan Berk shouts.
"It's frustrating, because you serve with good men who have lost their lives or have been seriously wounded who earned that uniform," he later on said and ABC News noted.
Apparently, this is also not the first time that Sean Yetman impersonated someone in the call of duty. Back in 2003, he posed as a policeman, seemingly.
Yetman's fiancée spoke out and said that they received death threats and Yetman suffered a nervous breakdown due to all this matter. Ryan Berk said he never meant to harm anyone, he just wanted to call him out so he'd stop "impersonating" others.
