France's Rich And Easy Beef Burgundy

French cuisine is extremely diverse, from simple snack to sophisticated dining. Classical French cuisine is rich and filling, with many dishes using cream-based sauces.This is a classic dish of the Burgundy region of France, designed to celebrate the wines for which Burgundy is famous.

Beef Burgundy (Boeuf Bourguignon)

Ingredients
1 pound beef stew meat, cut into 1 or 2 inch cubes
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, halved
3 carrots, chopped
1 small onion, cut into wedges
1/2 cup Burgundy wine or dry red wine
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed golden mushroom soup
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp dried rosemary
Salt and pepper

Directions
1. In a slow cooker, add in all the ingredients.
2. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours. Serve.
