Rob Lowe Cosmetics: ‘West Wing’ Star Launches Men’s Skincare Line … To Look As Ageless As Brat Pack Member!

Throughout a long career spanning over three decades, it would seem like the star of cult films like "St. Elmo's Fire" hasn't aged a day since his days as a heartthrob way back in the eighties - and he's using his face for just that purpose now with the Rob Lowe cosmetics!

Part of the Brat Pack, that group of actors in the 80s that often starred in John Hughes movies and made headlines at the time (such as Demi Moore, the Sheen brothers, Robert Downey Jr., Matthew Broderick and even "Two and a Half Men" star Jon Cryer), the 51 year-old star hasn't ever stopped appearing on films and television shows, showing the world that whatever skin regime he's following, even if it is Rob Lowe's cosmetics, definitely works!

It's no secret that most Hollywood actors (with notable exceptions like George Clooney) have to take a fairly important care to their skin and will often wear make-up on and off the screen, and the incredibly young-looking star of "The West Wing" wants all men to follow this trend through the new Rob Lowe cosmetics.

According to Toronto Sun, the Rob Lowe cosmetics line is called Profile, including products such as under-eye serum, cleanser and moisturizer - none of which are considered popular products for men, though it'd be interesting to see whether his own results taking care of his skin for decades could be the best advertisement.

"The thing I really want people to understand is that I built this line from the ground up," the actor told Women's Wear Daily, speaking about his new Rob Lowe cosmetics product line. "I'm not the celebrity endorser, I'm not the face of the product. I'm the developer of it. I have an entrepreneurial spirit."

While for now the Rob Lowe cosmetics line is limited to skin products, MSN reports the actor plans to extend it further towards fragrances and hair products; as for now, the line's available at Nordstrom and through the website Profile4Men.com.
