Sylvester Stallone puts the Memorabilia of 'Rocky’ and 'Rambo' Up For Auction

The American actor, screenwriter and film director Sylvester Stallone, is leaving the Rocky and Rambo movie memorabilia, however, the 69 year old Stallone is still keeping the two characters alive on screen. Sylvester Stallone said, that he is not parting from the characters, as the actor will become Rocky Balboa again onscreen in the movie Creed this fall, and Stallone is working on another Rambo installment.

On Thursday, Sylvester Stallone announced that from his 40-year career, he will put hundreds of props and costumes up for auction in October where portion of the proceeds will go to military charities. The items that are up for the auction includes Rambo's Army jacket and Rocky's gloves, robe and boxing trunks.

Stallone is giving a little room for the "lone wolf" or "man against the odds" characters he likes to play for the fascination of people nowadays with cinematic superheroes today.

Sylvester Stallone stated, "That's kind of why I'm still around, because I embrace that and it's become kind of a rarity and there's not many of us left," Stallone also said, "Will that come around again? I don't think so. Not in its purest form... So I embrace it and that's why I want to continue to do it until my body explodes."

In the movie Creed (stars Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Johnson that never knew his famous father, boxing champion Apollo Creed - which was Rocky's nemesis), Sylvester Stallone will still be playing the role of Rocky but this time he will be the boxing coach of Adonis Johnson.

Sylvester Stallone said, "By no means is this a Rocky 7," Stallone also said, "This is a journey for Michael B. Jordan, who is brilliant in the movie, and Ryan Coogler, [for whom] this is a very personal film."

Creed is written and directed by Ryan Coogler, and with an initial release in the USA on November 25, 2015.
