LeBron James Not Sad, Tweets Swag Day After Loss to Bulls

LeBron James tweeted a link to a roomful of swag, a day after breaking a 27-game winning streak with a loss to the Chicago Bulls. He seemed to shrug it off today with a lighthearted tweet, asking for a "left hand massage" after a presumably marathon signing session with Upper Deck sports memorabilia.

The photo shows off the shoes, books, balls, cards and other things that James signed with his left hand. Although he is left-handed, he shoots with the right.

James was not happy with the ugly play that went on during the Heat-Bulls game, especially being wrapped up by Kirk Hinrich, Taj Gibson and other Bulls players. He said that many of these were "not basketball plays" and ended the game with a flagrant-one foul against Carlos Boozer that drew cheers from the United Center crowd.

As hard as the loss may have been, head coach Erik Spoelstra prepared for it by not speaking of the streak during the two month stretch. Presumably, he did not want to jinx the streak, nor put undue pressure on his players. And they rode the limelight to 27 wins, a respectable number by any measure and the best in 40 years of basketball.

Lebron has shown remarkable maturity as a basketball player, not full of excess or of himself as he gracefully reaches for NBA greatness. In another MVP year, he stays connected with fans, and continues to ride his bike to games when he can.

Now, the Miami Heat needs to focus on what's important, which is winning championships. And signing swag. James will be doing plenty of both for years to come.
